SUMMARY
Reflection
The event with Charlotte City Council Member Tiawana Brown was incredibly powerful. Hearing each person’s story of resilience reminded me why sharing our experiences is so important. I learned that bringing people together in this way not only builds a community but also inspires others to believe in their strength. It felt amazing to see how our stories moved people, especially the women who left feeling encouraged and ready to support each other through life’s challenges.
Project Impact
After hours upon hours of hard work leading up to this event, it was incredible to see it all come together with an audience of over 200 people in the room and even more tuning in on television. The response was overwhelming, with over 100 people reaching out afterward, asking us to host more events like this and inviting us to speak at their gatherings. Partnerships are already in the works to continue this momentum. Seeing so many women moved to tears, inspired by the message that we are stronger together, showed me the real impact we can make when we unite and share our stories.
