SUMMARY
Reflection
I was able to help a lot of kids register to vote, and this was very impactful to me. It is so important that we as young people educate our age on the importance of voting and the importance of registering before you vote. I was able to make an impact in many kids lives and educate them about the importance of voting. This is something that I am very passionate about, and I wish someone would have done for me when I was beginning to learn about our government and the importance of being civilly involved. Governors Page taught me about the importance of being involved and I want to continue educating others on this duty.

This week I learned about all the different departments of government and how our government works together to support all citizens!

I will be planning a drive students come and register to vote. The kids will come and fill out ballots and I will take them to the board of elections.
Publicity
1.00 hour leading an event | Connectedness
I made flyers for my event and put them all around the school so that kids were able to be educated on the fact that the event was happening and be prepared to register to vote.

I initiated a drive in which kids age 16 and up we’re able to come and register to vote. I had registration ballots out and kids would come fill them out during their free periods or during lunch.

I was able to teach kids about the importance of voting in our society today and allow them to learn about the registration process and even register. a lot of kids don’t know that you have to register before you get to vote so it is important that we teach them and continue to educate them on this.
