    SUMMARY
    Reflection
Through this experience of working with multiple other teens who were hoping to make an impact on their communities just like I was, we were able to connect and reach more people than we would have been able to on our own. We were able to show our compassion and our commitment to our state and our own communities through this clothing drive and we were also able to all show our own leadership skills.
    Project Impact
Over one week of donation collecting, 7 ambassadors including myself all across the state collected over 30 bags of clothes and many necessities for the Women’s Center. We grew a following of 93 on our instagram page and were able to reach members of our communities through that and our own personal social media accounts. We had a very successful first drive, and we hope to continuously leas in our communities by following up with more seasonal drives throughout the year.
    PROJECTS TASKS
    Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Compassion
I worked with the department of administration and the department of public safety. I learned about the civil aspect of our state and gained new hands on experience and knowledge.
    Project Planning
3.00 hours donating clothing | Compassion
Support in style worked within a group chat to put together details needed to set a week for our clothing drive. We all put out ideas and thoughts and agreed on a week that would best suit all of our needs. Through this group chat we were also able to communicate about how to make people aware of our drive and all the items we would be collecting during the process.
    Do the Project
10.00 hours donating clothing | Compassion
During the week of May 12-16 we worked from multiple counties spread across the state of North Carolina to collect women’s clothing items and necessities to keep the Women’s Center of Wake County full of everything they need. We interacted with our communities to receive donations and then we were able to at the end of our week, discuss a date to get together and sort through all of the donations. After doing so we all brought our contributions to the Women’s Center of Wake County.
    Project Outcomes & Reflection
1.00 hour donating clothing | Compassion
We were overall able to reach out into our communities and surrounding communities to receive many donations to benefit our state’s women’s shelters. We were able to see how our work can help to improve other people’s way of living, and further understand how the work we put in can not only benefit us but our communities.
