    I have learned how fulfilling it can be to come together with peers and work for a cause larger than myself, and the importance of make a difference in other people’s lives.
    Project Impact
    By donating 30+ non perishable food items, up to 100 children in need can be fed these holidays who may not have proper access to food.

    Served as a Governor’s Page where we met with different agencies and departments, met the Governor, and developed and presented a Policy Proposal and planned a service project.
    Project Planning
    4.00 hours donating food | Compassion
    Planned my project with members of the Operation Flow (Future Leaders of the World) Club at my school. I informed them we would be holding a holiday food drive and donate the food to NourishNC. I have pictured the logistics coordinator for nourish N.C. below.

    Today I held the food drive, collecting food from peers at my school and I distributed it at NourishNC here in Wilmington.

    1.00 hour leading a collection drive | Compassion
    Through holding this food drive with my peers, I have donated food to hungry children and families in need in my area, who will be brightened up by receiving donations around the holiday season. Pictures below are the bags of food I donated.
