The Family Crisis Center will always be a refuge for individuals facing intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and stalking. We remain dedicated to providing safe, compassionate support to victims of abuse and violence by offering confidential guidance to any individual or family in need, regardless of their age, income, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability status, religion, language, and/or culture. The mission of the Family Crisis Center is to be the expert resource and service provider in eliminating domestic and sexual violence in Bastrop, Colorado, Fayette and Lee Counties. Our Services include:
*Crisis Intervention: We have advocates available to help with:
-Safety planning. -Court, medical and law enforcement accompaniment.
-24/7 crisis hotline and advocacy services: 512-303-7755 and hospital accompaniment for Sexual Assault Forensic Exams (SAFE) for adult non-stranger or stranger rape.
*Shelter: -Providing 24/7 emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence & sexual assault. We offer safety planning, advocacy, and a secure environment for residents to work towards their goals.
*Transitional Housing: -Empowering survivors of domestic violence & sexual assault through affordable housing, comprehensive case management, and supportive services. Our programs offer individual and group counseling, life skills education, and essential resources for adults and youth.
*Offender Accountability Programs: -Proud to support our community through state accredited Battering Intervention & Prevention Programs (BIPP), Anger Management for non-intimate violence offenses, and Protective Parenting education. Our Coordinated Community Response (CCR) and Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART) are dedicated to enhancing victim safety and ensuring offender accountability through comprehensive training and policy implementation.
*Counseling: Reinforce your journey to healing with our professional counseling services. Offering individual counseling and support groups for victims of abuse of all ages, we specialize in overcoming the effects of violence with empowerment-based, trauma-informed care. *Prevention Education: -We're committed to fostering a safer community through education and awareness on domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
