The Board of Education members and administrators worked together in the 2001-02 school year to create the new mission, vision and values and have spent every year since supporting and striving to meet the expectations in both student learning and administration of the school district. Following the detailed pacing guides, which are posted on our website https://www.kcsd96.org/curriculum/curriculum-frameworks, along with tiered intervention for all students and standards-based reporting, the District’s mission of ensuring that every child achieves his or her maximum potential has become a reality. Kildeer Countryside School District 96 consistently ranks in the Top Ten academically (among 748 elementary/unit districts in Illinois). District 96 hosts visitors from across the nation, and internationally, who come to learn how we commit to a continuous cycle of improvement. Focused and collaborative goal setting coupled with differentiated accountability has helped to ensure that every child, in every school, is academically and socially challenged and successful, every day.
