Reflection
This was an amazing opportunity that I participated in I learned so much about state government and the impacts and importance of volunteering.
Project Impact
I impacted Beaufort and Martian County school systems by ensuring the delivery of more than a dozen bags full of an assortment of school supplies, along with four book bags.

This week I learned about the North Carolina government and had the opportunity to form my own policy proposal for the NC Department of Adult Correction.
Project Planning
5.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
I contacted and communicated with SECU general managers and county school district administrators from each county to schedule drop-off and pick-up times.
Do the Project
10.00 hours leading a collection drive | Compassion
I picked up and dropped off school supplies for both the Martin and Beaufort County school systems from SECU.

Overall, it was a fulfilling experience to contribute to local schools and collaborate with SECU, and county school district administrators to deliver school supplies.
