The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) was established under the National Defense Act of 1916 and has since grown to become one of the largest character development and citizenship programs for youth in the world. 


The JROTC program with RCAS was established in 1995 at Central High School.  Although the JROTC instructors and activities are housed at Central High School, membership of this group is open to both Stevens and Central High School students.  The JROTC "Cobbler Battalion" is a cadet-ran organization that competes in co-curricular events and supports the school and community.
