The Young Women’s STEAM Research and Preparatory Academywas established in 2017, providing a forward-thinking, rigorous curriculum that fosters critical thinking in the areas of science, technology, arts, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM). We serve grades 6-12 as a public,all-girls preparatory school with a direct pipeline to college. YWA empowers students to DREAM, DESIGN & DELIVER valuable solutions for a better world. Students develop strong skills in self-directed learning and discovery while making meaningful connections in community with global awareness. In 2024, we became an official sister school with the Young Women’s Preparatory Academy (YWPN), Dallas, TX. The work of the schools within YWPN revolves around three pillars: College Readiness, Responsible Leadership, Personal Wellness. YWPN delivers programming around these key principles and stand as evidence of the educational empowerment that girls experience upon receiving a public, all-girls, college-preparatory education. YWPN schools purposefully and intentionally engage, excite, nurture, and offer young girls from underrepresented populations an opportunity and a choice for a promising educational future.
