SUMMARY
Reflection
I was really happy to participate in bringing awareness about Be The Match into my community and getting people to register and donate. At my counties' next heritage festival, I plan on bringing this organization back to have even more people sign up. I'm not old enough to become a donor yet so I'm happy to have a way to help those in need.
Project Impact
Helping those in need can lead to a fulfilled life
PROJECTS TASKS

Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Compassion
Created a policy proposal related to the Department of Health and Human Services. Listened to multiple professionals talk about their department.

Project Planning
6.00 hours leading a fundraiser | Compassion
For my service project I want to bring Be The Match to my community. To do this, I will have a stand at my local heritage festival to give people information about the program and get people to sign up. I have made a trifold with all the information needed and contacted Be The Match so I can partner with them. My club, HOSA, has helped me with all of this because we always help out at the heritage festival. The club's advisor will help along with members who volunteer.

Publicity
2.00 hours leading a fundraiser | Curiosity
I have created a flyer with the help of one of my club friends. This flyer is giving information about Be The Match and how to register or donate. I also created a page on the organization's website where people can donate money. The money goes directly to Be The Match.

Do the Project
6.00 hours leading a fundraiser | Compassion
At the Jones county heritage festival, me and my club members fundraised for our club along with fundraising and giving information about becoming a donor for Be The Match. We stayed out from 9:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon. Many people took flyers with the qr codes to register as a donor and/or donate money towards the organization.

Project Outcomes & Reflection
2.00 hours leading a fundraiser | Compassion
First of all, I would like to thank Mrs. Suddona Murrell for helping me coordinate my event. She, along with my other club members, provided support for my fundraiser and donor recruitment. We ended up getting $2 dollars in donations and two people to register as a donor. That may not seem like a lot but I think it is still a big accomplishment. Getting to talk to people about helping others was really nice because it feels like I'm spreading the word about donating and saving lives.
