While I have run other collection drives in conjunction with events and activities, this one in particular has been something near and dear to my heart. I have run a few successful drives before and learned the importance of publicizing (even if I feel like I am annoying people) in a polite and positive manner. I also know how important it is to make donating as easy as possible, which is why I have volunteered to go and pick up books from my neighbors houses in order to alleviate the burden of having to go out and drop books off at a certain place. I’ve greatly enjoyed this experience and will definitely continue to make an impact in my community this way.
