NTP tutor’s are the nucleus of our program. Our volunteers serve as direct educational and emotional support to our students. Tutors are paired with students whom have articulated a need for additional guidance in reading and or math above and beyond traditional approaches. Students are excited to engage weekly with dedicated support on concepts to enhance their mastery and understanding of tools and techniques that follow them through their primary and secondary matriculation. Our volunteers are instrumental in enhancing the self-esteem and confidence of our students while encouraging the independence and perseverance necessary to overcome any obstacle to succeed.
Training Required
Must attend an orientation session with Recruitment and Outreach Team to learn about the program and Curriculum
