Cradles to Crayons is a nonprofit that provides children from birth to age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with essential items they need to thrive. We rely heavily on community members to donate their new and like-new essential items in order to serve Chicagoland children. This October 19th, Cradles to Crayons is hosting a 'Gear Up for Winter' collection drive in order to prepare kids for the winter months. We will have 20 "pop up" collection sites around the city and suburbs, and Fry Family YMCA is our Naperville location! We are in need of 1-2 people to sit at a table in the center from about 9:45 AM - 1 PM on Saturday, October 19th and to hand out information about Cradles to Crayons to community members who come by.
