**All volunteers must go through an onboarding process. Please fill out the volunteer application and sign up for volunteer training to begin.

The main volunteer opportunities we consistently offer are for our After-School program (Monday - Thursday from 3:15 - 5:30pm) and for Parent's Night Out (Friday nights and a few Saturdays from 5:00 - 8:45pm). Volunteering at both opportunities look very similar. The main role of our volunteers is to play and interact with our MVPs and help fulfill basic programming needs. Really, our goal is that you would come alongside our mission and get to know our MVPs!

Generally, to equip our volunteers well and ensure the safety of our kiddos, the process to volunteering looks like this:
    1) Volunteer Application

    2) A 1-hour Volunteer Training

    3) Reference Check: We ask that 2 references be provided

    4) Background Check (if over 18)

If this sounds like fun to you, we'd love to get you involved! You will need to register for our organization in order to complete the interest form. This will get you in our system and kickstart the onboarding process.

  • Transportation Details & Disability Access
All transportation will need to be personally arranged.

We are a resource center for families affected by disability! Our building is fully accessible and our goal is to be a place where all people, regardless of ability, have a place to volunteer. If any specific accommodations are needed please let us know so we can set them up!

  • Training Required
We require all volunteers to attend an initial training! These generally run about an hour.

    Here's what you can expect:
    - A brief background on Ability Tree
    - An outline of your volunteer opportunities
    - Some information on disability
    - Helpful behavioral tips
    - A tour of the facility
