Bella Brown, Co-Founder and President of Living Outside, is a Humanity Rising Service Scholarship Winner and a recent graduate of Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago. Bella has felt connected to people experiencing homelessness since she was a toddler, but her drive to break the stigma of homelessness grew to new heights when it became a personal story after meeting her Uncle Jay. As a result, she created Living Outside, an organization that delivers direct aid to those in need while simultaneously combating internalized prejudices. Additionally, Bella is the National President of the Junior Economic Club and the Executive Director of Innoverge. She is a competitive dancer, and in her free time, she enjoys bingeing a good show and spending time with friends and family.
Tune in to learn more about Bella, her experience, her organization, and her drive to change the world - and importantly, how you can make a difference in your own community!
