Charlotte Gould is a 17-year-old who was born with a cleft lip and palate, requiring multiple surgeries when she was young. The experience inspired her to combine her passion for advocacy and her skill in stitching to create Stitches By Charlotte, a company that creates dolls for children who need companions during surgery. Not only do these dolls provide a sense of comfort, but they also come with miniature sewing kits so kids can sew on any scars they have, so that they have a doll that looks just like them!
