We're excited to announce that our first-ever Humanity Rising Film Festival will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 6pm-9pm at Wayfarer Theaters in Highland Park. Our Fest will feature student-created films focused on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, bullying and inclusion.

In addition to viewing amazing student films, the event will feature a Q&A panel with the filmmakers, voting for the Audience Choice Award Winner, mingling with fellow film enthusiasts, fun selfie opportunities with your friends, learning how you can become involved with Humanity Rising, information about our next Film Festival this Fall, free popcorn and more! We hope to fill the theater in honor of these incredible film creators.
We also have volunteer opportunities at the festival itself, such as sharing information at our table in the theater lobby from 6:00 to 7:00, and also asking people about their experience after the films end. Please reach out to us at the email below if you're interested in this opportunity!
