  • Research has shown that receiving letters of love and encouragement can significantly improve a child's emotional well-being, leading to increased confidence, better self-esteem, and a more positive attitude toward school and peers. Post It Love aims to provide uplifting emotional support for students through weekly handwritten notes offering words of encouragement and affirmation. Our letters remind youth they are cared for and capable, nurturing perseverance and resilience.

Create a batch of 10-12 positive notes. Cut index cards in half or cut full-sized sheets of paper down to post-it size (don't use post-its because the sticky back is a problem) and write an upbeat message piece. Convey uplifting phrases like "You're awesome!" or "Believe in yourself!" Keep it short and sweet. Consider adding doodles like hearts and stars to brighten a student's day. Notes should be written clearly and use fairly simple vocabulary suitable for elementary-age kids. Have fun experimenting with different pens, markers, or art supplies! Varied colors/handwriting make each note unique.
