S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is partnering with the Cathedral City Peace Initiative to host Pieces For Peace, observing the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, 2023. The U.N. General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire. This exhibition will be located Cathedral City, California.
This call is open to all students and encourages them to consider one's role or piece in generating peace. Media and materials considered include painting, prints, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Recycled and repurposed materials are enthusiastically encouraged.
