Volunteers fill various roles during these two days to: prepare for the event, help people during the gala , then clean up after the event with the organization leaders. Preparation includes assembling and hanging decorations on Friday evening. Saturday morning volunteers can assist with decorating the ballroom, carrying materials into the event space. Saturday evening volunteers sell raffle tickets to guests and assist guests with online bidding for auction items. If you have skills and interest in presentations with a slide show, please inquire about roles for media table. Saturday evening volunteers are asked to wear dress clothes since they mingle with Gala guests. The Foundation would really appreciate some volunteers for clearing out the decorations, packing and carrying items back out of the event space at the end of the evening. All roles help to raise funds that improve the lives of individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities living, working and playing with the support of Riverside Foundation.
