Volunteers help set up registration tables and prizes for the event. Once the Derby is about to start, volunteers take a spot somewhere around Green Lake and will be assigned that area for the event. They will write down the participants' names in that area, measure the fish using a ruler, and keep track of the number of fish caught by the participants. Once the event is over, volunteers help clean up.
